John Ferguson
Senior Director of Business Technology, National Co+op Grocers
John is Senior Director of Business Technology at National Co-op Grocers (NCG). As Chief Business Technology Strategist, John is responsible for the design and management of all business technology; including IT infrastructure, ERP/CRM systems, and web portal/business application development. Also responsible to provide strategic guidance for NCG’s retail technology programs deployed in co-op member retail locations; i.e. point of sale, eCommerce, electronic ordering, and supply chain integrations. Prior to joining NCG, John had roles at Ineo Technology and IntegriSoft, where he provided business technology services to prestigious small and medium-sized businesses. John was also Chief Information Officer at Optical Cable Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer and wholesaler of network products and services. John holds a BS, Masters and Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods from Virginia Tech.
